Radio NV is the radio arm of NV, one of Ukraine's major independent media houses. I designed their podcast app: the place where the station's shows, playlists, and the live broadcast live on iOS and Android.
The app covers the whole listening loop: a home feed with playlists and fresh episodes, show and publisher pages, a full-screen player, a personal library with subscriptions and downloads, and the live radio stream one tap away.
Finding a show
Browsing starts on the home feed: curated playlists on top, fresh episodes below. Shows and publishers get their own pages, with the full episode list one tap in.
Playing an episode
An episode page holds the notes and the play button; the full player adds skips and speed. The live broadcast is its own screen, one tap from anywhere in the app.
The library
Subscriptions, favourites, history, and downloads live in one place, so the daily listen starts without a search.
The web player
The same catalogue lives on the web at podcasts.nv.ua, so an episode link opens for everyone, app or no app.
